Applying “Lean Principles” to identify inefficiencies at your agency
Employees at many agencies do not consistently follow agency practices; and many agencies do not use their CRM, AMS, or Zywave to its full potential. This leads to inconsistent and slow customer experience. Lean principles evolved from “Six Sigma,” a process mindset that yields a max of 3 errors per million processes, and it is one reason we have consistent, reliable smartphones, longer lasting cars, and same day hip replacement. Lean principles leads to environments and cultures that systematically minimize errors and waste. We discuss what we’ve found talking with agencies across the US and how we use lean principles to better understand waste, mistakes, and opportunities for improvement.
